Footprints

Footprints offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a tranquil setting. The house is situated in an estate in Witsand, with just a short walk to a ‘private’ beach on the banks of the Breede River, and 2 km from the main beach.

The house comprises 4 bedrooms and can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults and 4 children. There is one en-suite bathroom, one family bathroom and a guest toilet. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed, an en-suite bathroom, and sliding doors leading onto the braai patio with a view of the Breede River. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has a double bed and sliding doors leading onto a wooden deck with views over the ravine. The fourth bedroom contains 2 bunk beds. Both bath and shower facilities are available.

The house has open-plan lounge, dining room and a kitchen, with a built-in braai in kitchen area. Another built-in braai is on the patio, with fantastic views over the ravine leading to the Breede River edge.

Guests can enjoy meals in the kitchen, particularly in winter when the fire warms the entire area, or on the outside braai patio.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with a fridge-freezer, oven and gas stove, microwave, as well as a dishwasher for convenience. The dining room table inside and the outdoor patio table both seat 8 guests.

After days of sun, sea and sand, head back to the house for a relaxing evening around a fire and enjoy the sunset and a visit from the resident owls.
